Reed Barton 165 Silverplate Epergne Centerpiece Candelabra Tazza, Crystal Bowls

For your consideration is this superb and very elegant vintage EPERGNE/CENTERPIECE/CANDELABRA made by ONE OF THE FINEST AMERICAN SILVER COMPANY - REED & BARTON. This amazing Reed and Barton vintage centerpiece is exquisitely detailed and can be an elegant addition to the refined home or office, ready for holiday entertaining and display. Reed and Barton is the well-known silver company which has produced some of the finest American sterling and silver-plate. The 165 pattern is one of their most beautiful designs.

This silver-plated piece is absolutely stunning. The surfaces are so elegant, elaborately ornate, detailed large piece. The exquisite decoration wraps completely around this outstanding epergne, all coming together as an artistic and harmonious piece. This elegant item is a splendid work of art. There is amazing silver workmanship on the piece with the cutouts, beautiful form, gorgeous detailed floral and leaf decoration.

No wear through the plating. Excellent pre-owned condition, with some light scratches from polishing and very light use. Otherwise this exquisite piece is in excellent original condition. No damages and no significant wear.

No dents, cracks or repairs. The bowls are lead crystal and small ones have no scratches, one small bowl has small chips on the rim, not really noticeable, another one is perfect. The largest crystal bowl was broken and glued back together (please check all pictures). You can find replacement bowls on line or at an antique store. The condition is reflected in the price, otherwise the piece can be used and displays perfectly.

Dimensions: the epergne is 20 wide at the widest part without the inserts and 22 with the inserts. The height is 12 1/2 without the insert and almost 15 with the insert. The large crystal bowl has a diameter of 8 3/4" and the two small ones have a diameter of 6" each. Very large and impressive piece. Signed: Reed & Barton, 165 on the bottom.
